1973 Christian Dior Documented Gold Sunglasses
Description
These Christian Dior sunglasses were designed when creative director Marc Bohan was at the helm in 1973. Its rare to find documented accessories from the 1970s and we were delighted to find an editorial shot of supermodel Jerry Hall wearing the same design for the season’s campaign. An oversized shape, they have angular frames made from gold plastic that have a subtle faux-marble pattern. The arms are finished with a “CD” logo in silver-tone metal. The lenses are ombré faded from top to bottom.
These sunglasses are in excellent vintage condition with no scratches to the lenses or the frame and appear original.
