1980s Angelo Tariazzi Oatmeal and Gold Embellished Jumper
Description
Late 1980s to early 1990s knitted jumper designed by French luxury label Angelo Tariazzi. Woven from pure wool, it is super-soft and has a tight, smooth weave, ribbed at the cuffs. Cut to an elongated, tunic-like length, the bottom hem has an exaggerated ribbed area - a detail popular in the 1980s as it creates the era’s beloved blouson, batwing fit to the top. Varying tones of pale ecru, brown and beige thread result in a soft, go-with-everything taupe colour overall. The neckline is collared and is adorned with gold-tone rectangular studs which also run the length of the shoulders and around the top of the sleeves. Three large pearlescent brown buttons secure the polo-style neckline. This jumper is unlined.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition. The outer fabric is 100% Wool. There are no other labels remaining in the sweater but this is a super flexible size; it will be oversized on sizes S-M and be more fitted on sizes L-XL. The fabric has some stretch so please allow a degree of flexibility on the below measurements.
