Description

One of Princess Diana’s favourite designers, Victor Edelstein was known as the master of the English thoroughbred look. Created by his namesake brand in the 1980s or very early 1990s and retailed by exclusive Knightsbridge store Lucienne Phillips, this elongated jacket is tailored from striped panels of royal blue and black thick silk with a slight sheen. The drama comes from the big shoulder pads and pleated, peplum-cut of the waist. Showing off his skill for decadent design, the designer adds a final flourish - chunky buttons crafted from polished black plastic with faceted cuts.

This elegant blazer is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws. This piece doesn't have a composition label but its definitely high-quality silk. The size label reads UK 12 which equates to a US 8 and the fabric has no stretch to it. Our model is a UK 8-10 and 5ft 11in. (180cm) and this was quite a roomy fit so we are going with true to size on this one.
