Description

These superb 1990s earrings by Kenneth Jay Lane make a real statement and were designed to turn heads. Forming a shell-like shape, they are crafted from green enamel that looks like jade. Each end is topped with a pretty pearl and the body is dotted with sparkling rhinestones. Gold-toned strips appear to spiral around the shells. The back features a classic clip fastening crafted from gold-toned metal. The metal is adorned with a “Kenneth Lane” embossed plaque. These are a much earlier and better crafted design than more modern versions of these earrings as is usually the case with vintage!

Weighty and extravagant, they would be perfect for a cocktail party or black tie event. Kenneth Jay Lane, who began designing jewellery in 1963, was famously compared to Coco Chanel on a number of occasions for his popularisation of high quality costume jewellery.

These earrings are in excellent vintage condition with no flaws. They are not scratched or marked. Please check the below measurements.
