1991 Versace Gold Medusa Chain Belt With Frosted Glass and Diamantés

This incredible, iconic circa Fall 1991 Gianni Versace gold tone chain belt with frosted glass and diamanté Medusa charms is in absolutely impeccable vintage condition. The models walked the runway for Gianni Versace's Fall 1991 collection in circular, diamante-encrusted belts and we believe this would have been the version of these belts that was produced for stores.

Each medallion is frosted glass with a classic Greek key design set into a circular gold tone frame with the signature Medusa's head embossed into the centre. Sparkling rings of crystal diamanté surround the central medusa motif and the circumference each medallion. A highly desirable piece and a rare find. It is an extra small and would fit up to US size 2, UK size 6.

The belt measures 28 inches total in length and is comprised of 20 round frosted glass medallions each measuring 2.2 inches diameter. It is secured with a hook attached to the end piece that can be fastened to the 3.5 inch chain on the opposite end. It comes with the original black fabric protector bag labelled Gianni Versace.
