2000s Bruce Oldfield Couture Pink Skirt Suit with White Beadwork
Description
Bruce Oldfield is a celebrated British couturier renowned for his occasion wear and this is a beautiful and understated example. Made in England circa early 2000s, this embellished skirt suit is tailored from pure wool in the softest baby pink. The sleeves of the jacket are adorned with criss-crossing embroidery and beadwork in white that forms elegant angular spirals and abstract geometric shapes. The jacket is collarless with a body-hugging fit. It has a hidden tonal zip at the front which leaves it with an open neckline and is linked in tonal pink silk. The classic pencil skirt is cut with a high waist, and falls to below the knee with a slit at the back for ease of movement. It fastens at the back of the waist with a hidden tonal zip and chunky hook-and-eye.
The suit is in excellent vintage condition with no issues of any note. Couture made at great expense, there are no size labels so please check our measurements below closely. It is made from 100% Wool with a lining of 100% Silk. This is best suited for up to a UK 8 or US 4 with a slim waist.
