2000s Roberto Cavalli Grey Beaded Sequinned Maxi Gown
Description
This Roberto Cavalli gown dates to 2009. Tailored from grey silk-crepe, it has a column silhouette with a skirt that sweeps the floor. The top is crafted to racer-back style that has a low-cut front and strappy, exposed back. The beadwork is elaborate with sequins, beads and rhinestones in assorted shades of grey, black and clear. It forms curved, geometric shapes that recall the Art Deco decorative motifs of the 1920s flapper-era. The dress fastens at the centre back with a hook-and-eye and hidden tonal zip with logo zip-pull. Fully lined in pale grey crepe.
In excellent vintage condition with no issues and looks barely worn. It is 100% Silk with a lining of 100% Viscose. Labelled an Italian 40, UK 8 or US 4, the fabric has no stretch. A handful of spare beads will be included.
