2003 Runway Documented Prada White Beaded Bib Necklace
Description
This runway documented necklace adorned the necks of multiple models walking in Prada’s Spring 2003 collection. Appearing in both black (look 22/40) and white (as look 10/44), this heavily beaded piece adds a futuristic glamour to the minimalist Prada tailoring. Highly textured, it is crafted from dozens of high-shine white plastic beads in spherical, oval, diamond and spinning top-esque shapes. These beads are sewn onto white grosgrain-covered, stiffened circles which form a curved bib shape. Attached to the bib with white plastic rings, black ribbon allows this piece to be secured around the neck. The back is detailed with the iconic white-on-cream woven Prada label and a care label.
A substantial and rare piece to market in very good to excellent vintage condition; some minor markings to the white grosgrain on the reverse only in keeping with light use and age. Due to the ribbon fastening, it has an adjustable fit which means it can be worn high on the neck or lower down the torso.
