2010s Siah Howard Blue Faux-Denim and Leather Beaded Bomber Jacket
Description
Siah Howard is a couture fashion label established in London in 2017. An eveningwear and wedding dress specialist, Howard’s fantastical designs are elaborate, elevated and otherworldly. This incredible couture-crafted bomber jacket was handmade in England. The fabric is a stretchy, high quality synthetic silk printed with a tromp l’oeil pattern that looks like indigo denim. The jacket is detailed with buttery soft leather that has been dyed a tonal dark blue and has an iridescent metallic finish. This leather sits around the collar and inside the neck, inside the zip-up front, around the bottom hem, and inside the cuffs. It also forms a band around the shoulder which has a leather strap falling from it, detailed with two slate grey metal D-rings. The jacket fastens up the front with a black zip and is lined with luxurious blue satin throughout. Tailored to a slouchy bomber jacket style with a more fitted waistband and wide angel-sleeves. The jacket is decadently embellished all-over the faux-denim with florals, vines and leaves created from black stitching and black iridescent beading, with petals filled in with slate-blue sequins. Two slip pockets on each side and a zip pocket on the right-hand side complete the look.
This attention-grabbing piece is in excellent condition, particularly for an ensemble of such intricate embellishment and may never have been worn. The retail tag, minus VAT, is over £2.7k. Due to being couture made, it has no size or composition label, so please check the measurements below carefully, it would best fit sizes up to a UK 8-10 or US 4-6.
