Leee Black Childers most iconic and haunting photo of Jackie Curtis in Times Square in 1969. The original transparency was hand coloured to give it a moody quality. This first of edition of 10 and very collectable. This was Leee's favourite photo and was the cover for the catalogue for his 2012 exhibition in London.
Jackie Curtis was one of Andy Warhol's superstars and features in Lou Reed's Walk on The Wild Side. She befriended Leee Black Childers and took him to meet Warhol at the Factory.
This is an amazing picture and very valuable.

Leee became a Factory photographer and then went on to be tour manager of David Bowie and Iggy Pop and then managed the Heartbreakers who he brought to Britain on the Anarchy tour.
