Vintage Summer Dress in Layers of Red Silk, UK10-12

A summery 1990s vintage dress in contrasting layers of red silk and cotton, unlabelled, possibly professionally handmade by a dressmaker.

Sleeveless, with wide neck and straight bodice, to fitted waist  in lightweight sheer silk organza, with pleated tiered skirt.  Two longer underlayers, the first in red  silk crepe, with bias cut skirt; finally a bottom layer in pleated red cotton.  Below the knee.  Back zip.
