1970s Purple Embroidered Paisley Three Piece Ensemble

This decadent 1970s three piece ensemble is crafted from vivacious purple chiffon. The set is composed of a strapless crop-top, midi-skirt and sheer shirt. Printed with psychedelic florals in mustard-yellow, bright fuchsia then overlaid with white embroidery, this is an unusually detailed design. The fully lined top is tailored in a bandeau style with small slits on the bottom hem at each side. The swirling, full-skirt has a softly pleated waistband. It is high-waisted and lined in purple cloth and is fastened at the rear with a hidden zip and a single button. The overshirt is lightweight and floaty, with bell-shaped sleeves adding an ethereal feel to this look. It is secured loosely at the neck with a coordinating tie - adding a hint of glam-rock appeal.

All three pieces in this 50 year-old ensemble are in excellent vintage condition with no issues. Due to its age, this piece doesn't have a composition or size label so please check the measurements below closely. We believe it would best fit sizes up to a UK 8, US 4. Our model is a UK 6 or US 2 and this fit her well.
