1980s Oscar De La Renta Cream Victoriana Shirt with Lace Trim

This late 1970s to early 1980s Oscar de la Renta Victoriana blouse is tailored from rich cream-hued muslin in a straight-cut silhouette. Detailed with machined, white filet lace; the collar is formed from cream lace with a scallop hem. The shirt fastens with an off-kilter, faux mother-of-pearl button fastening down the front that runs from top to bottom. It has neat puff-shoulders and gathered cuffs which fasten with a single button. Unlined and, as such, the three panels of lace along the front are sheer. The blouse contains the original bronze-on-cream Oscar de la Renta label and the ILGWU union label for the period 1974 and 1995.

This beautiful blouse, with its unusual details, is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. It has no size or composition label so please check our measurements below as the fabric has no stretch. I suggest a best fit for up to a size UK 10-12 or US 6-8 and sizes smaller.
