1960s Large Lucite Strawberry Brooch

This playful strawberry brooch was designed in the 1960s. Crafted from lucite in a bold juicy red, the body of the strawberry is see-through and dotted with gold-toned seeds. The top of the brooch features two leaves with detailed veins carved onto the leaves and a stalk, all in gold-toned metal hand-finished with green paint. The rear of the brooch has a long silver-toned C-clasp which means it can be worn on a lapel or to secure a silk scarf. This brooch is in very good vintage condition with a bit of gold loss to the seed balls and a few faint scratches to the lucite - only apparent when viewed very closely.
