1960s Monochrome Beaded Bodice Dress

This American made high end 1960s cocktail dress has a sophisticated monochrome rose print and striped pattern bodice. It has been expertly and lavishly embellished with thousands of black bugle beads in an abstract style. This piece features a scoop neckline which has been cut lower on the reverse to reveal the top of the back. Pretty cap sleeves and a rich black straight-line skirt complete the look. The dress is made from a high-quality silk satin and it is fully lined in acetate with a concealed centre zip fastening and hook and eye at the back. Now unlabelled, this is very premium cocktail wear that would have retailed in a top department store.
