1970s Harry Algo Printed Green & White Silk Chiffon Dress With Ruffle Neckline

This charming 1970s printed silk chiffon dress in seafoam green and white, is labelled Harry Algo, Paris, and is in beautiful vintage condition. The dress is a simple shift cut, with darting below the bust and a neatly cinched waistline. There is a broad scoop neckline both front and reverse embellished with a delicate pleated chiffon ruffle trim to echo the double layer of pleated chiffon that makes up the floaty angle-length skirt. The bishop style sleeves are a single layer of sheer chiffon with broad cuffs that fasten with concealed popper fastenings. There is a belt feature in matching ruched chiffon that secures at the reverse with hook and eye fastenings. There is a concealed zip fastening at the centre reverse and the bodice is lined in pale sateen fabric. This lovely dress would be perfect for weddings and summer parties and would fit up to a US size 10, UK 14.
