1993 Runway Krizia Grey Wool Embellished Military Style Jacket
Description
Krizia was an Italian luxury ready-to-wear label that was founded in 1954 by Mariuccia Mandelli. Wearable, eclectic and extravagant, the brand's embellished designs are now highly collectable. This military style jacket was shown on the 1993 Spring / Summer runway. Tailored from rich grey linen, it is embellished with hundreds of carved wooden beads in elaborate floral forms down the front, along the bottom hem and at the cuffs. The neckline is finished with layers of high-shine circular red beads. A hidden single button secures the front of the jacket.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition and without fault; very minimal bead loss noted and we have included some additional wooden beads to continue repairs as needed. Outer is made from 100% linen and it is lined in coordinating pure silk. Labelled an Italian 42, it will fit UK sizes 8-10 or US 4-6 best.
