1960s Embellished Green Purple and Blue Belt
Description
This lavish embellished cloth belt was made in the 1960s and remains in excellent vintage condition, without a bead out of place. It is covered all over with beads of varying sizes in lustrous blue, green and pink-purple. Tiny pearls and sheer, iridescent beads form lens shapes around the belt that seem almost like eyes peeping from the band. The metal and fabric buckle is finished with coordinating beadwork.
This belt is a wonderful way to liven up a more simple dress and accentuate the waistline. The belt will fit any waist up to 33 in or 84 cm with a small adjustment needed to the hook loop which holds the end of the belt in place. The hook loop is currently set for a waist of 30 in or 76 cm and held in place with a few stitches.
