Description

Founded in 1946 in London, Frank Usher's aim was to bring high-end details and fresh off the runway looks at a more affordable price range, whilst not sacrificing quality or cut. We've had many designs in the Circa archive over the years which were inspired by the couturiers working at the houses of Dior, Balenciaga and Givenchy.

This 1980s gown is tailored from frothy white synthetic georgette fabric without being sheer. The halter-neck strap is crafted from quilted satin and fastens behind the neck with fabric covered buttons. The quilted strap continues down the front of the dress and forms a low V-shaped neckline, detailed with cage-like satin strips across it. There is a coordinating belt also crafted from quilted satin. The bodice is ruched and the skirt is full, crafted from two layers of georgette and lined with a cream satin slip. The dress fastens at the back with a hidden tonal zip.

The dress is in excellent vintage condition with no issues of any note. It has no size or composition label and the fabric has no stretch. Please check the below measurements carefully as this is best suited to a UK 8-10 or US 4-6 with plenty of give in the hip.
