Hermès scarves, first introduced in 1937, have become iconic symbols of French luxury and craftsmanship, celebrated for their exquisite silk, hand-rolled edges, and artful prints that reflect both heritage and timeless elegance. All Hermès scarves are made in France and have hand-rolled edges.
This "Passementerie" vintage Hermès silk twill scarf was designed by Françoise Heron. The scarf was first issued in 1960 and re-issued in 2004. The scarf in a blue colourway is in very good vintage condition with one tiny mark (see photograph). No box but can be supplied in a plain black box.
