Description

Guy Laroche (1921–1989) was a Parisian couturier celebrated for refined, wearable glamour. He launched his fashion house in 1957, helping to define modern French ready-to-wear in the 1960s and 1970s while maintaining couture-level craftsmanship. From a haute couture collection circa 1990-1995, these statement earrings came directly from the daughter of an employee who had worked as a "Les Petites Mains" for Monsieur Laroche for over 20 years.

The earrings are formed of two large yellow gold-toned metal snowflakes set with dozens of glistening yellow circular and ellipse-shaped crystals and circular and rectangular clear crystals. There is a clip-on clasp on the back. They are in excellent vintage condition and unsigned as most haute couture jewellery was at the time. There is no wear to the gold on the outside of either earring, but there is a miniscule bit of wear on the reverse of the sides - not noticeable when worn. Please check the measurements below as these are large statement earrings.
