Late 1970s Early 1980s Chanel CC Logo Coin Chain Necklace
Description
This classic Chanel gold chain medallion necklace pre-dates the arrival of creative director Karl Lagerfeld and is circa 1978-1980. A thick twist chain in 23ct gold-plated metal; there are three 'coins' attached to the chains with an organic hammered surface and detailed with embossed double-C logos on both sides. The chain closes with a large spring ring clasp. There is an oval cartouche hanging from the chain that reads “Chanel Made in France” alongside the copyright symbol and double-C logo. In excellent vintage condition with no rubbing to the gold.
