1990s Gail Hoppen Pink Dress Suit with Belt

This early 1990s Gail Hoppen dress suit is crafted from the most fabulous shade of raspberry pink silk jacquard fabric with an abstract polka dot pattern. It is comprised of a strapless fitted pencil style dress, complete with a notched, sweetheart neckline to emulate a bustier. The inside of the bust has gentle boning to it and the dress fastens down the back with the original central zip and hook and eye, concealed by neat, narrow placket. The skirt is gathered slightly at the left hip and creates a very gentle, almost tulip like shape. There is also an immaculate matching belt with a large bow detail at the front, which fastens with two hooks and eyes and helps to cinch in the waist. The jacket has shoulder padding and puff sleeves with a banded cuff, which finish at around elbow length.

All three garments work beautifully as separate pieces and of course worn together for a special occasion; the style flows effortlessly from day to night time. In really great vintage condition with no issues. Looks like it was worn once. A best fit for up to a size UK 10 or US 6.
