Description

Founding his women’s footwear company in 1919, French fashion designer Charles Jourdan became mainly known as a luxury shoe manufacturer of both Jourdan designs and those of numerous other top designers, including Christian Dior, Pierre Cardin and Rayne.

These 1970s stilettos are inspired by the flapper and art deco designs of the 1920s and are crafted from black satin with a polished silver leather lining. Highly glamorous they are detailed with glittering rhinestones on a polished plastic heel and on the sculptural plastic form at the front of the shoes. Made in France, for legendary British shoe maker Rayne, the soles are labelled with “leather lewer cuir”. These shoes are in very good vintage condition with no flaws to the outside. Please note that some of the inside silver lining has worn away and they have light wear to the soles. The shoes measure to be a UK size 6 and a narrow fit.
