1930s Bias Cut Peach Silk Slip Dress with Lace Inserts
Description
This pretty slip dress was made in the 1930s and displays many signature details of the era’s best lingerie. Tailored from pinky - peach silk with coordinating silk-satin spaghetti straps, it has a nipped-in waist and highly flattering bias cut with inserts around the hemline. It is detailed with tonal peach lace across the bust, around across the back and along the bottom hem. This dress is unlined and falls to around the ankle.
A very fine example from this era and in truely excellent antique condition with no issues of any note. Due to its age, it has no size or composition labels so please check our measurements below. The fabric has no stretch. We estimate it will fit a wide range of sizes up to a UK 12-14 or US 8-10 and will have more of an oversized look on smaller sizes.
