1950s Jonathan Logan Lace Bodice and White Chiffon Dress
Description
This charming 1950s lace and chiffon dress is by popular American ready-to-wear designer Jonathan Logan. The top of the dress is crafted from the palest champagne-pink lace and lined with a pink satin slip. Logan was known for his eye-for-detail, noticeable here in the pretty, double-layered Peter Pan collar, cut from white satin and topped with sheer white chiffon. It is finished at the centre of the neck with a delicate pink ribbon bow. The full skirt is formed of three layers; sheer white chiffon sits atop a layer of white tulle and a lining of white satin. The V-shape back fastens with a tonal hidden zip. This lovely dress comes with a matching belt detailed with grosgrain ribbon and coordinating lace.
The dress is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. She is fresh looking and clean and ready to wear. Due to its age, there is no size label so please check the measurements below; we estimate a good fit for a UK 6 or US 0-2 on account of the small waist. The fabric has no stretch.
