1920s Original Grey and Gold Lame Cloche Hat
Description
This highly collectable hat was designed in the 1920s and is tailored to a classic cloche shape. An expensive and well made couture piece, it is crafted from a charcoal lamé detailed with gold metallic thread. This shimmering thread forms floral motifs across the entire outer surface. Designed to look as though it wraps around the head, it is tailored with swathes of fabric which circle the solid form of the hat and create a theatrical peak at the front. The inside of the hat is lined with inky black shot-silk which makes it a comfortable wear.
This piece is in fantastic antique condition with no issues and is entirely wearable. It also displays beautifully and has pride of place in our 1920s cabinet. It is unlabelled so please check the measurements below carefully; it should fit small to medium sizes. The fabric has no stretch.
