Description

This glamorous rhinestone encrusted bracelet by Bogoff was designed in the early 1950s. Jewels by Bogoff was founded in 1940 and eventually became one of America’s leading costume jewelry designers after Trifari and Coro. Their designs, which usually emulated real jewels, were retailed in many of the top department stores in the USA. The business shuttered in the early 1960s after the death of the founder and designer.

The bracelet is composed of alternating large and smaller square-cut faux aquamarine stones. These are surrounded by by brilliant cut rhinestones. All of the stones are set into silver-toned metal. The bracelet is secured by a box clasp and there is a safety chain with a spring ring clasp. The rear of the bracelet is stamped with “BOGOFF”.

Presenting very well and in very good vintage condition. It is not scratched or marked, however, some of the glue attaching the rhinestones has ever so slightly discoloured due to age - none of it noticeable at a glance. Please check the below measurements to ensure the best fit.
