Description

Vintage slip dresses and negligees are highly collectable and this is a truly lovely high-end example designed by Elizabeth Hayes of London in the late 1960s to early 1970s. Tailored from two layers of sheer off-white synthetic chiffon to a swirling, A-line cut; it has three-quarter length angel-sleeves and a collarless neckline. The sleeves and front hems are trimmed with decadent tonal braidwork. The negligee fastens at the top of the front with four tonal fabric-covered buttons.

This pretty negligee is in very good to excellent vintage condition; there are a few tiny pulls to the fabric mostly confined to the left side of the negligee. Please note there is no yellowing to the fabric - additional shots were not photographed in a studio. The fabric has no stretch to it and we estimate it will fit a good range of sizes up to a UK 12-14 or US 8-10.
