1960s White Linen Mod Dress with Large Floral Appliques

The design and high end construction details of this original vintage white linen dress make this very special and unusual. It has a distinctly 60s cote d'azur feel. In a classic A-line mini shape which flares out slightly at the hem, featuring large 3D pink, orange and yellow floral appliques, with wooden beads at the centre of each flower. The neckline is softly rounded and manufactured in a thick, high quality linen.
Although the dress is unlabelled, it is almost certainly the work of a high end designer, or dress maker who worked for a couture atelier and was purchased in France. It would be perfect for a summer event, paired with heels for a party or with sandals for a more relaxed resort look. It is in excellent vintage condition with no faults or marks to note, and would best fit a size 10 UK, or US size 6.
