1970s Gold Chain Rope Necklace with Faceted Glass Beads

This original 1970s necklace is very long and formed from a single chain of hammered gold-tone metal, punctuated at intervals by pairs of glass coloured faceted beads and rhinestone-set metal spacer rings.

Each pair of beads is a different colour, including crimson red, fuchsia pink, amber, aqua, amethyst, periwinkle blue and black, creating a vivid contrast against the warm gold-tone finish. The necklace fastens with a matching metal spring clasp.

There is no maker's mark although the necklace is very fine quality and in excellent vintage condition. There are no scratches to the beads and no missing or replacement rhinestones.
