1970s Hildebrand Cream Wool Floral Liberty Print Dress
Description
Hildebrand was a short-lived dress designer during the 1970s. It was stocked in London's iconic Liberty store, bringing dress designs to life using Liberty fabrics. This long-sleeve midi-dress is tailored from a cream cotton / wool blend printed with flowers in rainbow hues and polka-dots in green, yellow and blue. The square neckline and folded pleating add details typical of this era. The cuffs are finished with tonal plastic buttons and the back is fastened using a tonal hidden zip. A label at the neck reads "Fabric by Liberty of London". A coordinating belt shapes the waist, created from the same floral cotton sat atop leather.
This dress is in excellent vintage condition with no issues and the garment fabric is very vibrant and fresh looking. The size label is unfortunately too faded to read so please double-check the measurements below. We suggest sizes UK 10-12 or US 6-8.
