1980s Electric Blue Strapless Sequin Jumpsuit with Harem Trousers

This high-octane, vivid blue jumpsuit was made in the very late 1970s to early 1980s by an unknown designer. Recalling styles favoured on the dancefloor at the iconic Studio 54 nightclub, it is tailored from a shimming, cobalt blue jersey to a bandeau style with generously cut harem trousers. The strapless top is smothered in tonal sequins above the waist which glimmer as they catch the light, broken occasionally by a subtle horizontal stripe of dark teal sequins. The trousers have in-seam pockets at the hips. The jumpsuit is unlined but there is jersey lining over an area that appears to have been taken in ever so slightly under the left arm.

In very good vintage condition; some of the colour has come off the sequins around the edge of the bust but this unnoticeable when the jumpsuit is being worn. Labelled an EU size 36, UK 8 or US 4. The bust has some stretch so please allow a small degree of flexibility on the below measurements. As the waist is small, this is best suited to UK 8, US 4 and smaller.
