Description

The House of Emanuel Ungaro was founded in 1965 following the designer's stint at the Ateliers of both Cristobal Balenciaga and Andres Courreges and reached peak popularity in the 1980s. This elegant ankle-length skirt dates back to this era. Tailored from black silk chiffon, the swishy, full skirt is accordion pleated from the waistband to the bottom hem. It is cut to a flattering high-waist fit which is secured at the rear with a hidden zip and two hook-and-eye clasps. The original label reads “Ungaro Boutique Paris” and it is fully lined with inky-black satin. The lining has a small slit in it to allow for ease of movement.

This highly wearable piece is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws, though please note that the composition label has been cut off. We suggest a best fit for sizes UK 6-8 or US 8-10 on account of the small waist.
