This late 1980s to early 1990s white linen novelty jacket was no doubt, inspired by the whimsical designs of Moschino and Versace. This unusual design is a flamboyant take on military uniform and features a dazzling array of sequins and beads replicating Royal insignia, state honours and awards, medals and ribbons. It has two front concealed pockets that are sequin embellished with gold rank braiding. This braiding also embellishes the arm cuff and there is a crown emblem.

This single breasted jacket fastens with one large ornate gold button. Lined in white acetate, the label has been removed from the back of the neck. In great vintage condition, we note only the faintest tide mark at the back of the neckline. This is an oversized piece and will fit up to a UK size 14, US size 10.
