1989 Runway Yves Saint Laurent Beaded Sash Belt

This documented Yves Saint Laurent sash belt is from the spring / summer 1989-90 collection, and was featured on that season's runway held during Paris Fashion Week in October 1989. Shown in a number of designs and fabrics including leather; the black faille multi-coloured studded piece is in the most desirable combination featuring 34 moulded plastic dome shaped beads in an array of jewel like colours including blue, green, red, purple and amber. This belt would make a striking addition to any outfit, adding a distinctly 80s flair. In excellent condition, with no faults or marks.
