Exceptional Guy Laroche couture colour block evening gown which dates to between 1985 and 1991 and was most likely designed by Laroche himself prior to his death in 1989. Cut from a soft silk crepe fabric, it has a wide boat neck and long sleeves, with lovely shaping to the bodice to create a flattering shape. It is lined in a warm, almost terracotta red viscose blend, and fastens with a concealed zip running all the way down the back, finished off with a hook and eye closure. The lower back and bottom area is heavily gathered and features a large bow detail, with contrasting red silk to the underside. At the hem the dress has a rear split for ease of movement, and drapes beautifully to floor length.

The dress is in immaculate vintage condition with no observable faults or stains. It would best fit a UK 10-12 or 6-8 US but can be altered to fit. Our model is a UK 8-10 and 5ft 11 in / 180 cm, this dress was a little roomy but fit her well.
