1990s Thierry Mugler Lipstick Red Wiggle Collar Jacket

1990s Thierry Mugler couture bright red jacket with a wiggle collar that could only be by the French designer. Crafted from a lightly textured linen-mix cloth, it is coloured a vibrant lipstick-red. The jacket is tailored to a wrap-around style and is secured at the left hand side of the waist with a hidden snap closure crowned with a floppy bow. The collar is the stand-out detail of this jacket, falling like petals around the neck. The long sleeves are cut with angular cuffs - a Mugler signature - and are detailed with slits. The jacket is lined with a tonal satin cloth. The pale blue label reads “Thierry Mugler Paris”.

The jacket is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. The label reads 90% Viscose, 10% Linen, with a lining of 100% Acetate, and is labelled a French 40. Mugler vintage runs small so please check our measurements below as this piece has no stretch to it. We think it better suited for around a UK 10 or US 6.
