1991 Gianni Versace Turquoise Lycra Catsuit

This eye-catching catsuit was designed by Gianni Versace during his time at the helm of his namesake company. Dragging ‘80s signatures into the early-’90s, this catsuit is sleekly tailored from vivid mint green Lycra and cut to a long-sleeved, long-legged silhouette. It has a wide V-neckline at the front and a skin-revealing deep-V at the rear. We believe this jumpsuit dates to the Fall 1991 collection, a standout runway show in the brand’s illustrious history. During this show, Gianni Versace sent the most famous women in the world, the original supermodels, down the runway to the sounds of George Michael’s smash-hit “Freedom”. Throughout the show, models were resplendent in clashing block-coloured looks made up of catsuits, suit jackets and tonal shoes.

The suit is in very good to excellent vintage condition with no flaws or stains and the Lycra fabric is holding up well; it is tight with plenty of stretch. No composition or size labels remain but this will fit a range of sizes. The fabric has flexibility on the below measurements and we provide both stretched and unstretched.
