Description

This Zac Posen dress opened the show on the runway for the brand's Spring 2004 (Look 1 of 36). Generously composed from panels of baby pink silk with a variety of finishes, it forms a flowing patchwork of shimmering iridescent fabric, matte silk, sheer silk chiffon and shiny satin petals. Zac Posen is known for his talents with eveningwear and this piece epitomises his highly glamorous, flirty style. It has a multi-layered construction, with panels of cloth flaring out around the wearer as they walk. It is sleeveless and has a sensuous V-shaped neckline and V cut at the back. It fastens under the left arm with a hidden pink tonal zip and hook-and-eye clasp.

This piece is in excellent vintage condition. There is a small patch of very minor discolouration to the iridescent panel at the back only seen in certain lights but it is not noticeable at all when worn. The size label states that this is a US size 10 which equates to a UK size 12-14 and this is fairly true to size but please double-check our measurements below. The composition label states that this is 38% Cotton, 37% Polyamide, 25% Silk. The fabric has no stretch.
