Description
Beautiful example of Christian Lacroix’s high end ready to wear range from his spring 2006 collection. A patchwork piece created from fabrics almost certainly designed by Lacroix himself who was renowned for his maximalist designs. An identical, longer version of this dress was presented on the catwalk as look 62 and we have also included look 63 so you can see the back.

The dress has dolman sleeves and a deep V-neck, trimmed with a colourful embroidered lace in primary colours. The bias-cut patchwork design features a variety of silk panels, and a larger floral cotton panelled piece that makes up the front portion of the dress. This is also repeated in a panel to the reverse. The floral prints are contrasted with blocks of colour in seafoam, green, turquoise, and orange.
There is a concealed zipper on the left-hand side that runs from the underarm and a little button closure on the cuff to taper the sleeve should you desire.

Labelled a French 42. This is a good fit for a UK size 12, small 14 or US 8 small 10. In great vintage condition with only a couple of extremely minor pulls on the silk, not seen when worn and of no consequence.
