2015 Alberta Ferretti Runway White Silk Lace Wedding Dress

Alberta Ferretti is an Italian designer celebrated for her ethereal, romantic aesthetic, defined by flowing silhouettes, delicate fabrics, and a sense of femininity. The gown was seen on the runway as part of the brand’s Fall 2015 collection look 45/51. The runway version had a high neck whereas this gown has a rounded neckline. Of complex panelled construction and crafted from alternating horizontal cuts of white mesh, tulle, gently pleated silk-crepe and lace with pretty, fluttering frayed edges. The sleeves are billowing and cut to a voluminous balloon-shape - playing to the bohemian 1970s feel. The dress is lined with tonal, textured white silk for modesty and fastens at the back with a hidden tonal zip and hook-and-eye. There is a keyhole cut out in the mesh at the top of the back, which ties at the back of the neck with a small, delicate mesh bow.

The dress is bordering on excellent condition; we noted some very faint under-arm halos which were difficult to spot and certainly can't be seen when worn. The dress is labelled a size UK 10, US 6, and is 100% Silk with contrasting fabric of 100% Polyester, and 80% Cotton, 20% Polyamide. The fabric has no stretch.
