Circa 1930-60's Silk Chrysanthemum Haori Jacket
Gorgeous Haori Kimono Jacket made of Japasese silk crepe fabric.
The multi-coloured chrysanthemum pattern on the beige base will go very well with any clothes.
The history of chrysanthemum and Japan goes back to late Nara period (c. 790) and since then, the flower has been loved by the imperial family.
Kiku-no-gomon, the imperial family crest, was designed like a gold chrysanthemum.
It is also known as the symbol of longevity, rejuvenation and royalty.
Very common and popular pattern for kimono fabrics.
