1990s Christian Dior Pink and Lace Slip Dress

This pretty 1990s slip dress is by Christian Dior. The brand label reads “Christian Dior Lingerie” and it most likely pre-dates John Galliano's tenure as Creative Director. Tailored in the US from man-made matte satin in palest rose pink, it is encircled at the bust with floral ivory lace and embroidered with delicate florals that blend the lace and satin across the décolletage. A slit in the skirt is trimmed with matching lace and embroidery. A thinner panel of lace sits along the bottom hem. This ankle-grazing slip is held up by pale pink spaghetti straps. This truly lovely piece is in excellent vintage condition - perfect for wearing alone as a summer dress or for layering as part of an event look. Labelled a size medium, it is a best fit for a UK 10-12 or US 6-8. Our model is a UK 8-10 and 5ft 11in / 180 cm, this dress was a good fit on her.
