2013 Alaia Peachy Pink Knit Sculptural Skater Dress

This striking Spring 2013 Alaïa skater dress exemplifies the sculptural mastery and technical innovation that define the house. Nicknamed the “King of Cling,” Alaïa pioneered body-conscious dressing in the 1980s and became known for his architectural knits. Crafted in Italy from a signature heavyweight stretch knit, this dress featured in the look book for the season. It hugs and shapes the body, cinching neatly at the ribbed waist before flaring into a voluminous 3D-pleated skirt. The fabric features a white base interwoven with a peachy-pink thread, creating a soft tonal effect that reveals the white reverse when stretched. The sleeveless silhouette features a flattering V neckline which is mirrored at the back. This dress is unlined. It fastens at the back with a long tonal hidden zip.

In excellent vintage condition with no flaws and looks to be barely worn. It is composed of 78% Viscose, 10% Polyamide, 10% Polyester, 2% Elastane. Labelled a size FR 36, UK 8, but please check our below measurements. The fabric has some stretch. Our model's sizes are: Bust: 34" (87cm), Waist: 24" (61cm), Hips: 34" (86cm), Height: 5' 4" (164cm) and she's a size UK 4-6, US 0-2.
