Description

This elegant coat was designed by London ready to wear label Rensor in the early 1950s. It is tailored from bouclé wool in a creamy latte hue. It is cut to a classic swing shape, popular during the era, with fitted shoulders and long slim sleeves. It flares out towards the hem, which falls to around the bottom of the calf. The back is gathered at the waist, to emphasize the swing silhouette. The jacket has a tiny curved collar and is lined throughout in dusky rose-pink satin. There is a removable belt which attaches through belt loops at the sides of the waist. It is crafted from coordinating bouclé wool and lined with pink satin. The coat has two large patch pockets at the hips designed with feminine curved detailing. These feature large decorative button in pale sage-green plastic. There is a pink satin hanging loop inside the collar.

In very good to excellent vintage condition with no flaws to mention. It contains no size or composition labels. We estimate a good fit for up to a UK size 10, small 12 or US 6, small 8.
