1950s Taffeta Embroidered Floral Black Rockabilly Dress

This charming 1950s black taffeta embroidered party dress with cross over straps is gamine, feminine and in lovely vintage condition. The exquisite embroidered flowers start on the bust area and gently fall to about the hips make this dress more than just a little black dress with a rockabilly style aesthetic. The bodice has a Queen Anne neckline with double spaghetti style straps over each shoulder. Nipped in at the waist, the skirt flares out and would look great with a tiered petticoat for more volume. With a side zip on the left hand side this dress would best suit a US size 2-4 due to the petit was it measurement. Sadly the label has dropped out but in overall excellent condition with no faults to mention.
