1970s Christian Dior Knotted Gold Rope and Crystal Brooch
Description
1970s Christian Dior brooch almost certainly manufactured by Henkel & Grosse who have a long association with jewellery making for Dior. Crafted from a gold-toned alloy metal, it forms three strands of rope that form an elegant knot shape. Two of the outer strands have a woven texture like rope. The third strand is detailed with a multitude of glimmering crystals. At the rear, there is a long C-clasp to secure. Stamped on the rear of the brooch “Chr. Dior Germany” and the copyright symbol. In excellent vintage condition with only a tiny bit of wear to the gold at the rear - not evident when worn.
