Description
This is a really good example of late 60s to early 70s fashion when the hippie vibe was in full swing in America. This is most likely a European equivalent, on account of the dress looking very alpine style. This design has an integral bodice which is made to look like it is separate from the skirt. The corset ties are to some degree adjustable if a more fitted look is desired. The skirt fabric is cotton, and the bodice is more of a muslin which looks like it has been heat treated to provide an interesting, textured look. The sweetheart neckline is edged in a purple ric-rac trim which also edges the arm straps and separates the three floral tiers on the A-line skirt. The dress has a belt that is sewn into the two front panels and reaches round the hip to tie at the back. The original centre back-fastening zip is present.

In fantastic vintage condition with no issues of any note and is fully lined in a pink acetate. No labels are present, but this is a well-made piece from the era and suitable for sizes up to UK 8-10 or US 4-6.
