1970s Gold Sequinned Three Quarter Length Jacket
Description
Made in Studio City, California, during the 1970s, this striking A-line coat is perfect for making an entrance at a glitzy event. Heavily smothered in high-shine gold sequins, it has long shimmering sleeves and a three-quarter length hemline. Tailored to a double-breasted style, the V-neckline gives way to a wrap-over front secured with a large sequin-covered button. The super-wide lapels are so of that disco-dancing era. The original label reads “Lisa Studio City California”. This piece is fully lined in a pale lilac-pink satin, making it a comfortable wear.
In wonderful vintage condition for a piece of its age and intricacy with no issues of any note or sequin loss. Unlabelled but the quality of this piece is evident in the choice of fabrics and attention to detail in the design. It does not have a size or composition label so please check the measurements below carefully. The fabric has no stretch. We estimate a good fit for up to a size UK 10 or US 6 and the button could easily be moved.
